The Former Chantry Chapel and Village School

The north chapel has served many purposes during the church's history.

Originally a chantry chapel where masses were offered for the dead, it later became home to Grandborough's village school. Generations of local children received their education within the church before dedicated school buildings became available elsewhere.

This single space illustrates how parish churches often served both religious and educational roles at the centre of village life.
