The ring of five bells spans more than three centuries of local history.

The oldest bell dates from 1639 and carries the inscription:

By my voice the people may knowe to come to heare the word of God.

Other bells date from 1641 and 1706. Together they have called parishioners to worship, marked celebrations and commemorated times of national and local significance.
