Repaired timber floor inside St Peter’s Church tower

Serious wet rot was discovered in the timber supporting the tower floor, making the area unsafe and preventing use of the historic west entrance.

The supporting structure and floor were repaired, restoring safe access to the tower and allowing the west entrance to be brought back into use.
